Education Calendar

Chicago Opera Theater is collaborating with Classical Kids Live and the Oistrach Orchestra in bringing Mozart's Magnificent Voyage to our Opera For All students at Hampton Elementary School. The students will have a week of studying Mozart and Classical music from January 9-13th, 2012. The students will have an opening assembly with a string quartet, actors and Teaching Artists from Chicago Opera Theater. Throughout the week COT teaching artists will share the excitement of Mozart's life and music with each class from second graders through sixth graders. The week will culminate with a special performance of Mozart's Magnificent Voyage performed by actors from Classical Kids Live and accompaniment by the Oistrach Orchestra.
