2010 Season
ABC7Chicago: Chicago school kids stage an opera
COT’s Opera for All announces its 2009-2010 school year focus on Cavalli’s opera Giasone (Jason and the Golden Fleece). Over 350 students will explore the myth of Jason on his quest for the magical Golden Fleece, the process of creating an opera and then performing a student version of the opera for their school.
Chicago Opera Theater for Teens presents its next concert in April 2010.

COT’s Opera for All announces its 2008-2009 school year focus on W.A. Mozart’s opera La clemenza di Tito. Over 350 students will explore the life of Mozart and the Enlightenment ideals reflected in this work.

2008 Season
Students and teachers were invited to COT's India Blooms in Chicago festival. CPDU credit was available for the April 26, 2008 Stories in Motion: Narrative Dance in India event at the International House.
International opera star Michelle DeYoung visited COT and ASM's Opera Theater Workshop for Teens as a guest of Mrs. Maggie Daley. Read about it in our .

COT Director of Education & Outreach, Kara Kane, was at Opera for All partner school Von Humboldt Elementary.
COT’s Opera for All announces 2007-2008 school-year focus on John Adams’ opera A Flowering Tree. Over 450 elementary students will explore the Asian Indian culture highlighted in this south Indian folktale. In addition to demystifying opera, other themes include: transformation, storytelling, and creation and the composer.
Newest Chicago Public School Partner joins COT’s Opera for All 2007-2008 program:
2007-2008 Opera for All Season Kicked-off with a cultural workshop with the Indo-American Heritage Museum. Dorothie Shah and Lakshmi Menon from IAHM provided insight into the Chicago Indo-American community and education materials for our Teaching Artists to take to our partner schools.
