Kylie Olivia Bath
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ADVANCEMENT

Kylie Olivia Bath brings over a decade of experience in arts, cultural, and policy institutions to her role as Associate Director of Advancement at Chicago Opera Theatre. Kylie has worked with some of the most prestigious organizations in the arts, including Lincoln Center, Asia Society, and Guarneri Hall. In addition, her work in public media includes serving as a classical radio host for WOSU, writing for WFMT’s digital media, and hosting freelance programming for St. Louis’s Classic 107.3.

Kylie holds a degree in Musicology, with a thesis focused on building meaningful audience relationships through active stewardship and innovative digital media strategies. She honed these skills further while at WOSU and in the private sector, where she collaborated with ad agencies and digital media outlets. Her ongoing passion for public policy and its connection to the arts has led her to build relationships with policymakers to advocate for increased transparency and sustainability in the grants and funding processes that support the arts and nonprofit sectors.

A lifelong opera enthusiast, Kylie’s passion for the art form was ignited at the age of five when she first saw The Metropolitan Opera’s production of Mozart’s ‘Magic Flute’ on PBS— Papageno was an early crush. This experience and many others within her musical family, living in Southern Italy and Germany, led her to study and perform opera for nearly 20 years, shaping both her professional path and deep personal connection to the operatic world.
